error code 109:eb10304d:379a4b50

Playing the sims 4 I have loaded my game into the main menu with no issue, create a new game, create a family all with no issues, however, when I go to play the family in a house the game doesn't load sends me back to the select a world page, deletes the family and the error code 109:eb10304d:379a4b50 appears with a recommendation to "it is recommended that you relaunch the game" I have tried that, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting the game, the computer, I have even tried uninstalling a couple of expansion packs as this error only started once I installed the new high school expansion pack and I thought maybe my laptop couldn't take all that content. I have even deleted nearly all of my saved games that I don't play any more and cleared the sims cache. I have no other ideas does anyone know anything that might help?

@m3nzwzmyjyfz Are you getting exactly the same number or another number ?

Also could you provide the info asked above ?
  • Hi! I’m having the same issue. I don’t have any mods in my game (I deleted them all when the first error message popped up awhile ago) and none of the worlds will load. Please help.

@MelissaEllen97Is that the exact error you're getting ?

Have you ever used custom foods ?
  • I had the update option, and I technically updated the game, but when I enter it and then enter cas to start a new game, all of the age groups are there except for infants. It's just like there never was any update at all. I can't even check if the new furniture is there(I suppose it isn't) because when I create a sim and select the lot for them to live in, it kicks me out and says that there's an error and I should restart the game. Except it's happening EVERY time with every new save. This has never happened to me before, the first time it happened was the day after the update was released. I tried repairing my game and it did not work, it's not my mods either because I tried removing them and still nothing's changed. I waited a few days, hoping that something will change and I'll get the update but nothing happened. I do not know what to do anymore. Also, sorry for my eventual mistakes, or the fact that I had to translate the screenshot, but I'm not a native English speaker and unable to change my game language to English for some reason.

    Hi @Helenaigapek

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by clicking on the dots in EA app.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
