After installing the October 22 update I've been getting the error code 135 3ce8528f c8f10bcb. I've removed all my mods, updated my computer, and even uninstalled and reinstalled sims 4 and the ea app, and it won't go away.

The double load and deleting the localthumbcache worked, Thanks a lot!

Hi. I'm getting a similar 135 error code as well after downloading the new pack and the latest update. I removed my entire Mods folder and disabled mods in game options, but I'm still getting the error code. I'm running a repair (again) now, and if that doesn't work, I'll try a reset. I'm not sure what is causing this issue. I saw another thread mentioning Kiara mods (The Royal Family Mod specifically), so I tried removing that first. When that didn't work, I moved out my entire Mods folder. I'm at a loss currently. I hope we get clarity soon!

Update: After a factory reset, it would seem that I have a corrupted save file. I am going to assume it had something to do with the most recent mini patch and/or installing the Businesses & Hobbies. Trying to go through and save my lots and families to my library so maybe I can replant them in a fresh save...but I've had infinite loading screen issues now twice...I do have backups on an external, but, unfortunately, the last time I backed up my saves was some time ago so I would potentially lose a lot of progress if it comes to that point.

Hi ! For me it was one of ilkavelle's mods. I haven't had time to check which one yet. Hope it will help you.

same for me
Many different mods can cause this. Please start at Broken/Updated Mods & CC
Edwinette It's not the Royal Family mod - it's the Gigs mod, which is updated. Get the update. Remove any non-update freelance or gig mods, and then do a "save as" in the game. Note, though, that many different mods can cause this code. Start at Broken/Updated Mods & CC

Thanks all.
I had added back all but any career type mods and so far it’s still ok. luthienrising I’ll follow your advice when looking at what else I’m adding back.
I’ll mark this thread resolved and head towards the broken/updated mods thread if needed - grantbrandy3 months agoNew Scout
