Every time I delete an object with something on it, my game freezes

This is an issue I haven't seen any other players deal with. Every time I go into build mode and I want to delete a whole table, which might have a flower arrangement on it, the game freezes for like 5 or more minutes and it finally deletes. It doesn't happen if I delete the objects on the table and then delete the table, but that takes longer and I want a quicker way to remove the objects. I am a console player and I have absolutely no mods, I use cheats from time to time but I never mod my game. I don't think it's even possible to mod my game. This is just a little inconvenience that I want to be able to solve. If anyone can help me, that would be great.
