Fires keep starting every 5 mins. My sims can’t cook without the oven setting on fire

@emmamcevoy159 Do you have mods in the game?
Trying buying a better quality (more expensive) oven. I often find that the cheaper the oven the more likely it is to catch fire if a sim uses it with low cooking skill. You could also get them to raise their cooking skill by reading cooking books.
