Yes! Thank you for saying about closing brand! It also solve my problem and obviously lifestyle brand is still an issue. Thank you for saving my save 🙂

do you guys remember the exact error number ? Not just 510 but also the numbers after. Sounds like you're having a different issue from this error.

I just happened to have an old copy of the problem game. The exact error is: 510:a19a5568:6a63c9ff. I went into the game and tried to save. I got that error. When my sim went to the computer and closed her Brand, I was able to save again right after that. It took two days to discover that, so I was hoping to save someone the frustration and tears. :D

thanks for your answer. There's a different 510 making it's rounds as well so I was wondering if yours is the same.

I do not have a problem sharing the file. The issue with not being able to save happens about a sim hour in when she gets notice of the amount her Brand has brought in for the day. After that, the error happens when trying to save. I tested it with this version. I can save up until the notice and immediately after the notice, I can't.

I have had this issue for 2 days, it was causing my sims who have died (elderly ones) to come back (when i restarted the game) but i still have their grave stones and they would come back as ghosts (weird). And i would be a few days behind where i was actually.
Tried closing one of my sims Brand and it saved! They really need to fix the Brand... it doesn't work and apparently prevents you saving the game.

Another question to you both: Did you try to open one when the bug was still present and that got bugged or did you start a new brand after the issue was fixed ?
Also, what happens if you open a new one again ? What happens if you open a new one with a new Sim ? Do you also get this error ?
Also split this from the other thread as that was a different 510
- 7 years agoI have not tried a brand at all after this. I thought there would be more to it or I'm missing something. I can live without it.
