Game freezes when trying to buy ingredients for nectar machine
When I try to buy ingredients for the nectar machine, the game freezes and I'm forced to shut down the game through task manager. I have mods, but they are up to date.

Where are you buying the ingredients from? The grocer? When the game freezes in horse pack or other gameplay now like sims freezing and not completing tasks I go to the neighborhood and then back in and the game to the lot I was playing and it is working again. It's worth a try rather than shutting down everytime.
I would suggest if you are going to try doing the remove cc and mods to put the mod folder on your desk top so it's not lost and you can put it back.
