Just tried this, and my game still froze when I tried to create an alien ☹️ Is there anything else I could do?
I'm also having this issue and clearing the cache and repairing the game doesn't work. I've tried with and without mods, but creating an alien, aging up an alien, and giving birth to an alien freezes the game 100% of the time. *Sometimes* being abducted by aliens freezes it too but not always.
It happens when the game tries to get your sim pregnant with an alien because to do that it needs to generate a polinator alien sim. I know it doesn't help in any way, but I think understanding why this happens a bit better is nice
