game is corrupted?
Since updating my game I had to redownload a lot of cc (accidentally fumbled and deleted everything) and I just tried opening my game and it kept saying a bunch of cc was corrupted and wouldn't launc...

BuildABrat01 Please try this, so help diagnose the problem:
- Rename the Mods folder.
- Delete the file called localthumbcache.
- Start the game and exit.
- Download a new piece of CC. I usually use either peacemaker furniture or SurelySims clothes because I know they all work.
- Install that one item in your newly created Mods folder and try again.
Does that work?
That did work, I downloaded a piece of the cc it said was previously corrupted. Do I just reinstall everything then??
BuildABrat01 Unfortunately, that might be the only option now. (At least it's a good opportunity to reorganize and think about what you really use.)
As a tip, some of the people I've seen this happen to in the past had moved files on and off an external drive. Something to consider avoiding.
