@alwaysstrappe87 Hey, if your game works with CC toggled off and works with CC toggled on, but the CC physically removed from the folder, then the CC is causing the error and preventing you from launching the game.
Newly downloaded CC does not automatically guarantee it's up to date nor that it is properly built. Best way to weed out the culprit is to use the 50/50 method.
