No idea, it just started happening.What happens when the bug occurs? The game gets stuck on the first loading screen after launching the game. The plumbob is spinning and the tips continue to change so it's not frozen.What do you expect to see? I've removed them.Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure I tried to fix it by removing cc, removing saves, repairing the game, and using my phone hotspot to check if it was because of the internet for some reason, but none of it has worked. I don't think it's a PC problem either because I have over 50gb of storage open and it was working perfectly fine before this.

Try renaming your The Sims 4 folder to something else. Then start the game. If the game does not start and crashes after renaming your folder when you try to start it new, then try a game repair.
If the game starts, it will create a new The Sims 4 folder. Then once you've gone through making and placing the sim, save and quit. Then copy your saves folder from the renamed game folder to the new one and test that. If it works, don't save, just quit. Then copy over your mods folder and test again. If it crashes at that point but didn't before adding the Mods folder, you've got something in your mods folder that you will have to remove or update. It's probably an outdated mod but could be anything. You'll just have to go through what you have to find the problem file.

Hi! I have the same problem, playing offline is working but when I come back online, I'm still stuck on the loading screen. Btw, I have tried reconnecting the network while I'm in the game, but my gallery is not loading. Any suggestions?

@yaowarak7734 This doesn't sound likely to be mod/CC-related. Have you tested "vanilla" just to be sure, though? Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.

@yaowarak7734 Awesome! Start at the current Broken/Updated Mods & CC list for likely culprits (although I don't know of one that cared if you were online or offline). If that doesn't solve your issue, try a 50-50 .

@y2k_Angel8 That depends on what else you've moved back. Have you moved back any mods/CC yet? Or is this before moving those back? If you moved back mods/CC first, did you test them on a new save?

I found a resolution for Xbox. Since, you have to be online to play. I logged offline for a while and then logged back in and that reset everything.
