Gshade not working
i don’t know if that sentence makes any sense but i downloaded gshade on my laptop that i got about 2 months ago but when i open the sims it goes white then closes. Plsss someone help i’m begging

hi there, sorry to be a bother.
i am desperate for some help though - as i have recently bought a brand new laptop (windows 11) to play sims 4 on. the game runs fine on its own. i've subsiquently installed gshade, and running the game without selecting any presets through the in-game gshade control panel runs just as well. i've now downloaded a gshade preset online, and added itcorrectly to the gshade-presets/custom folder (see attatched file - file circled in blue is the newly installed preset i'm trying to add to my game) so it appears in the gshade control panel when inside the sims as well.
my issue is as soon as i actually click on the preset inside the game, it loads for a couple of seconds then immediately quits - no error message or anything.
i've spent days running through all of the gshade troubleshooting methods with no success and don't know what to do next.
any help would be greatly appreciated!
