(HELP) Sims4 won't launch in Origin due to Mods File

This issue has happened to me once before. However, I have managed to fix it last time through "repairing the game" in the Origin app. This time, I have done the same steps, and also restarted my MacbookPro multiple times. However, that did not help.

I have tried to remove the Mods File from the Sims 4 Folder and tried to reopen the game from Origin, and then it worked. However, in normal cases, I would always be able to launch the game without removing the Mods File, and I would run no issues along the way.

I have not downloaded any damaged mods or added anything new to them.

Normally if the mods are outdated or damaged, the game would give a notification with the code of the mod, and I would know what to delete.

What could possibly be the main issue here? and how could I resume playing my Sims4 while using the Mods File I own?

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
