Horse competition not working

My horse (level 4+ in every skill and my sim has level 6 riding skill) will enter a beginner competition and place (have gotten gold multiple times) and then it’ll show all the competitions unlocked. I will go home and sleep and come back the next day to do intermediate and the competition place did not save any progress! It will only let me enter beginner again in every single type. It acts as if I didn’t do it and I’ve only played the pack with one horse and one sim.
