How do I get my CC in the right spot??

Can someone please help? I can't load any of my CC, and I saw a thread where the downloads shouldn't be under the sub tab of my folder (Sarah). How can I get to documents without having my name in the tab so I can use my CC?

When you create the game, it creates the Mods folder (you never need to make the folder yourself). The correct location for that is shown in How to Use Mods and CC. If you have OneDrive or a similar syncing program, be sure it's not touching anything Sims 4 related. You can get support for how to do that in the tech support forums for Sims 4.

You open Your Sims 4 folder, and create new folder and name it “Mods”.
This should be the only place you ever put them.

All custom content goes into the mods folder. make sure any script files dont go any more than 1 folder deep. this is my set up (Hope this is ok by mods )
i separate items by what they are. makes it easier to find things that may go wrong in game
