How Do I Get Rid Of A Item Too Large To Select?

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
I want to talk about something you don't mention above: Scaling issue
How accessible is the current experience? Annoying, but OK
Summarize what in the product is difficult to use. Accidentally scaled up a bush so large it could no longer be selected, then saved and quit without undoing it. Now the house is done but I cannot undo it. How can I get rid of this bush?
How is this making it more difficult? Ruins all gallery photos and covers up part of the map
How can we reproduce this experience? Scale up an item to the point where it's no longer visible in build mode, then save and quit.

I  need to figure out how to get rid of it..

I moved your post to the right thread.

To post in the right topic first click on "All Boards"

Then you can choose your game.

It's too large... I've zoomed out as far as I can go and cannot select it. It is visible from the photos when uploading it to the gallery and on the over world map area... Can I select it some other way? Or maybe zoom out past the maximum?

Even though it is very large you should still be able to select it at its bottom even if there are nothing visible there.

  • Press Z to be able to move the entire house, then move it. That worked for me.

When you enlarge it the footprint stays the same so if you remember where you placed it you can click there to select it.

  • I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.

If you have any issues with The Sims 4, please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.
