I can’t interact with my baby

Question

I am a starter player on the sims and I don’t have any cc. I only have base game, no other packs. I went to age up Arabella into an infant and I went into create a sim to fix her up a bit. When I came back I tried to feed her but when I clicked on her no actions were coming up. I went to see if it was just her so I clicked on my other infant Diego and all the interactions were coming up. So I went to Arabella’s genealogy and she was all alone. I went to check my genealogy and it was only me my husband and my two other kids Diego and Chelsea-Marie. please help

Try playing as the infant and have them smile at the parent - I think some people have had luck with that.Never mind, apparently that bug still shouldn’t completely erase the family relationship. How did you create the baby?If you open cheats and turn on testing cheats (testingcheats true) then type CAS.fulleditmode and then go back into CAS, what relationships are set for Arabella?
