@LucyLovesMarvel I had the same issue and I had to do a 50/50 search of mods and CC. In my case I discovered the Bienchen(Sim4me)'s latest version of Townie Overhaul was the cause. Once I removed that I could select the makeup chair again.
@Caerfinon Does it happen with that mod alone, just the base mod of it? Bienchen has a support thread at the EA Forums, I think.

I did not test them individually, but as a group, so I can't say if it was main file or one of the other three package files.
