Does anyone know of any mods that are definitely broken after the August 19th update? I use the mod manager, but it doesn't tell me which mods have updates available. I'm playing without the mods that have scripts, but this way, the game is boring and useless.
I appreciate anyone who can help me.
What I'm afraid you're going to have to do is try your mods out one by one to find which is the culprit causing the problem some of us are having --- the ' I can't get into a household' issue. You didn't explain what you're experiencing.
I have been able to realize MCCC 2025 4.0 works fine in my game, so far. I also have a file of cc hair that is okay, too. I have way too many mods and it's going to take a bit of time, but it's worth it if I can play my year+ old game save. However, my most needed mod Road to Fame is caputs.
I do have to tell you, though, I did a game repair and then did a factory reset, which is easier than it sounds. Trust me I'm 70 years old, and if I can manage it. I wish you luck and hope that EA gets on top of this immediately. You're quite correct, without mods/cc, the game can be dismal. I've been playing it since summer of 2005.
FYI as of today (Aug 20), on Deaderpool's website, notice says MCC "has been tested to be working" with 1.117 (Aug. 19) patch.
I had to remove UI Cheats Extension and any mods by Sacrificial and Vicky Sims. MCCC, LittleMsSams, and Wonderful Whims are working for me.
I am seeing some do and some dont for MCCC mod, it causes issues with mine. after 4+ hours of detective work, losing all of my saves then doing mods one by one, everything now works fine until I add in the MCCC mod then my game fails to load.
Practically every mod with the script needs update: Sacrificial is broken, Adeepindigo maybe. Somebody told, that if he removed Adeepindigo, game is playing again. Lumpinou has told, that his mods work, Kuttoe maybe, Wicky? I don´t know. I tried Wicky and it doesn´t let me load the game. SimRealist is broken, Roburky made update.
What I want to say, I never saw anything like that. If You turn Your mods off, You can play. Otherwise game can´t load Your save.
Both UI Cheat Extension and MCCC are working just fine in my game after the patch, but I don't use CC except for a few script mods and a couple of hairs. Better Build/Buy I haven't dared to test yet, since that usually breaks with all patches.
I found an easy way to find the culprit. Look in your EA folder, look for a file named 'lastexception...' pick the most recent one. Copy and paste the first couple of lines into a easy to read app like docs or something and make it double spaced. You will find the mod name by scanning it. It took me 20 seconds to find the culprit. If you have more than one, then you have some work to do.

Most of aims 4 clothes, makeups, shows, accessories, mcc and ww are script mods. And they are needed for a normal fun gameplay
