Hello All, I have a question: Is anyone experiencing this issue? I recently re-downloaded all of my Cc and found that after CAS and choosing a household, the loading screen seems to be in this infinite loop, and then I have to force quit TS4 six times, I've reinstalled, repaired, removed, and EA recovery on the EA app all my cc to no avail. I've been playing since 2015-2017, and this is my first time reaching out to see if anyone else came across this issue. Please help me or give me tips on how to better my gameplay. @clyd234 Mods/CC get outdated with patches. Check the websites of the cc you're using if there's an update or any comment that they no longer work There's also a list pinned in the mods forum here.

@clyd234 I'm so sorry to hear that this has happened to you! You will be relieved to know that this is currently a common issue, so don't completely freak out 🙂

Download the FREE version of Revo Uninstaller and use it to completely uninstall the EA app on your PC. This will completely wipe all trace of EA from your PC. Then, about an hour later, re-install EA app and log into your account. Hopefully, everything will be reset (data still saved, don't worry) and all issues resolved.

My fingers are crossed xx 🙂

@clyd234 To be sure, you have this issue with all your cc removed and also on a new save game or only an existing one ?

@crinrict I tried without the cc, and it worked for a bit, I'm not 100% confident it will last though. I deleted all my saved games after I installed TS4. I believe it is on a new saved file.

@clyd234 There's many issues for infinite loading and it depends a bit where it happens but if it works with no cc then you have probably one that's not compatible with the current version.

With it worked for a bit, do you mean it stopped working or you only tested a bit ?

Sorry for the late reply. I tried playing Ts4, and it did work; however, it was weird because before the update, it was running perfectly fine.

I have the same issue as them right now. Its been happening since the release of the EA app for Mac (I do have a recent and compatible Mac) and I deleted all my cc as well, deleted and re-downloaded the EA app and the sims so many times I couldn't count it. I just spend a whole day talking to EA customer service and after Safe booting my Mac per their advice I still get stuck n the infinite loading screen. Just like OP after install I can start the game go to CAS to create my household and choose a lot, but when loading to the lot and actually starting the game I end up in the loading screen. Force quit the sims 4 and restart. and only loading screen from that point on. Customer service isn't able to help me and really just told me to come here to the forum. I do not even want to know how much money I spent on this game (Bought it back in 2016 for €60+ most of te packs since then) so getting this game to work is definitely a priority.

Jumping in as a fellow Mac user and helper. Please do not ever use any 3rd party apps that claim to "clean" your Mac of unnecessary app or system files. They often cause more damage by removing important files and can destabilise the operating system, resulting in the user needing to reinstall apps and even the OS in some instances. Apple's own support forums are full of very experienced Mac users telling people never to use them 🙂

Uninstalling EA App will not fix your issue here and is irrelevant. Game updates frequently break Mods and CC. Next time it happens follow these Mac specific instructions to try a clean game https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612398#M163

@ranaroada could you follow that link please and try a clean Sims 4 folder?
