I also decided to try one more thing to be 100% sure. I started yet another brand-new Sims 4 folder (Test 5) and this time I put 25 files—Drake’s pants and another random 24 from my backup—completely loose in the Mods folder with no subfolders at all. Even with the files sitting right there in the main folder, the result was exactly the same. The game shows they are loaded at the startup screen, but they still don't show up in the catalog. It doesn't seem to matter how I organize the folder or that it's a completely different set of random files; the game just isn't indexing these backup files into the catalog. I've attached the pictures of the loose folder and the results here.
I hope this helps. Would you like me to try anything else?
JenjenlnFoley Is there anything else these items might have in common? I noticed in search that one of the creators is a TSR creator. Were the missing items all originally installed with the TSR mod manager?
(I don't need all the screenshots, especially the ones not showing info about CC.)
