Ok, I'm so happy that I think I finally found the list of mods I'd like to install into my game. Having never done this before though I don't know how to go about doing it. It's too late to figure it ...

Are you using a PC or Mac?
For Mac, put the downloaded file in /Users//Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
Then enter into the game, game options -> other -> enable custom content & mod -> view custom content (might need restart the game)
