Invited Sim disappears from venue after arriving

    Yes, but all the characters that do this--three so far--are NPCs and I'm guessing they're off to work like everyone here suggested.

I find that this tends to happen if the game allows you to invite out someone who is meant to be busy.

For example, I invite out a sim, the arrive at the lot but then immediately leave - because they are meant to be at work and they obviously go off to their own work.

Now, I just make sure I only invite out sims that are available with some free time or their day off.

Does it always happen with the same Sim?  Because that's what happens with mine.  Only one Sim disappears every time they're asked out.

    The only reason they tend to leave is if they are technically busy and should be working.

    Is the sim doing this to you an NPC? Some of those have strange work shifts. What is their job?

      Hi @wildwingsuz

      as @simvasion pointed out, there's NPCs with weird work shifts (some work 24h). 

      Do you only get this with one Sim or also with others ? And as asked above, do you know what job the other Sim has ?
