For some reason my up and down keys aren't working as well as tapping the up and down u can do on the screen. I took out my mods and repaired it but it's still broken so I'm not sure what the issue is, like if the game is broken itself?
Savikuu Do these keys work properly outside the game? If so, try switching to windowed mode, and to the Sims 3 camera (and back again if you like, after testing).
If these steps don't help, disable any apps you use that come with overlays: Discord, Steam, etc. Disable the EA App in-game overlay as well, under Settings > Application.
switching cameras fixed it when i didn't have mods but when i added them back in now it's broke. All my mods were updated when i was try to fix it on my own
Savikuu It sounds like at least one of your mods is broken anyway. If you can't figure out which one, use the 50/50 method:

puzzlezaddict thank you for giving ways to help. it randomly started working, i think sims was just broken itself. But if it happens again i'll keep it in mind!
