July patch ruined my game?!

Question

Since the update, I went onto one of my Sims families and there's items in their house that have disappeared, despite not being CC. The Sims themselves are gone, their plumbobs are on the floor. And the floor - even outside of their San Myshuno apartment - is covered in question marks. I turned off the CC and mods and it hasn't made a difference. When it's on, it says there's an error and I can't load any families. In fact, it says there's 0/80 Sims on my settings. I had about 78 before, 4+ generations in. It'd suck to loose everything and all of my builds. What do I do?

After what happened in June and the way EA broke the game for a lot of CC and most notably for the HQ Mod by changing Default CAS Parts: Eyebrows; Eyes and Skin Textures, then I have become wary of immediately accepting game updates when they are released.

My HQ Mod game was down for weeks while I searched for an answer. Finally got it and now I'm fully back up and running.

Last thing I want is another repeat of that so I'm staying offline mode and wait for any announcements and amendments to EA's updates by the likes of Sims 4 Studio (S4S) with their batch fixes etc. Last thing I ever want is a repeat of June. And I don't really care for what bug fixes EA say they're fixing.

I hope you get your game sorted...
