Launching problem

Question

I have been playing sims for about 20 years and I have to say I'm very disappointed right now. Ever since the new update my game will not load about 90% of its CC that I have spent YEARS collecting and now the game will not even launch.&nbsp; Some of the CC content I have paid for through patron and not to mention all the money I have spent in EA to play sims 4. Are there any solutions to this issue? I've tried to do multiple things to see if is would fix the issue. Obviously I have had no success.&nbsp;

Hi! I had the exact same problem after the latest patch, and I managed to fix it. Here’s what worked for me:

The update corrupted a few CC package files.
Even ONE broken file can stop the whole game from launching.
I fixed it by testing my Mods folder in small batches until I found the corrupted files.
After removing those, the game loaded all my CC normally again.

It’s a bit time‑consuming, but it really works. If your game won’t launch at all, start by testing half of your CC, then narrow it down. I found only 3 bad files out of a lot of package, and everything is working now.
