Looking for good skin and eye CC

Alpha or maxis match? For maxis match, lamattise has some great skins. Lots of good ones here: https://mmoutfitters.tumblr.com/tagged/skins. I'd recommend miiko as well, and their eyes are cute. My favorite eyes are the whisper eyes by dangerouslyfreejellyfish.
For alpha, try obscurus, northern siberia winds, and poyopoyo.

What's all this then? I have seen people talk about skins in various places but I'm not sure I know what that is referring to. I'm new to the sims (and new to pc gaming) compared to most people here.

It's a CC item. It's basically an overlay that replaces the default skin on the sim's face and body. The difference can be subtle or dramatic, depending on the skin.

So like, different colors, like the green and blue that I have seen around, or the nudity thing I read about when I got the mccc mod (where he said that he doesn't provide nude skins or...whatever)? Or either option, or more options? Forgive my ignorance! I'm just curious and dumb I guess.

They can be different colors and/or nude, but not necessarily.
