I'm on MC CC version 3.4.0 and TS4 version 1.29 and, if I remember correctly, I was on those versions when playing around with that command. Which, at the moment, are the current versions. So fixing afterwards? I would go with: no not at this moment.

Look in your GameVersion file, if you want to know that, in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4.

Vampires was released on 24th of January. The first TS4 update after that was:
02/02/2017 – PC Version 1.27.80.1020 / Mac Version 1.27.80.1220. Never mind, didn't caught your edit.

For MC CC support it's best to make sure your game is up to date and you use the latest MC CC version. Some problems can occur when players don't use an updated MCCC/TS4 and trying to help with those problems wouldn't do much good if those problems are a direct result of that (even though I don't think this particular problem is a direct result of that). So as a guide: we always tell people to make sure everything is up to date.
