hey guys! im getting a last exception error and some pretty bad issues because of and i have some mods so im assuming thats the issue. my question is how do i go about finding out which mod is causing the problem? thanks!

HelloThere has been many mods/cc broken by the pre season patch This is a link to a list of some of the broken/updated mods/cchttp://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/941998/broken-updated-mods-seasons-june-2018-patch#latestTry moving your whole mods folder to the desktop.. Remove the localthumbcache.package file from the Sims 4 folder. Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues. If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem. Put one item or batch in , test the game , take it out. Then test another one, to find the cause of the issue.

It would be best to remove them and download /install the updated versions, These could be causing your issues.Try also moving your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues. If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem. When using mods/cc it is best to always check to see if there are updated versions released after a game patch as often they sre broken by patches. There is often a thread set up in the forums where broken and updated mods are posted.

Hi guys, I recently was downloading some mods, but all it downloads are the notes, there is nothing that plays in game. I've had mods before, and deleted them, and now I cant download any.
PLEASE HELP ME!

Hello! I've been having a problem with my game recently. I think it may be the mods but I'm not sure. I downloaded CC a while ago and I added a few more and my game ended up responding to it weirdly. In the game when I try to buy something from build/buy mode or do anything that pauses the game for a little bit it ends up acting weird. Like for example when I have a sim couple and I try to have them manually take a romantic selfie with Sacrificial's passionate romance mod, they take the picture but then I can't control my sims at all and I can't exit the game or control anything. Like the moodlet and sim icons disappear and it just looks like I'm watching the game instead of actually playing it (if that makes sense). It's been going on for quite a while :'( Do you guys think that it's a mod problem? Or is it something else?

You could have out of date Mods. I would recommend using the 50/50 method to find the culprit and then checking to see if the Mod has been updated. Remember that anytime you update your Mods you should clear your cache.

@Prettygirlplays You use mods that can't be discussed on the Forums. Make sure you have the most recent versions of mods, check that beds aren't being blocked, and if you still have problems, head over to a Discord support server like Sims After Dark or Deaderpool. They can interpret error logs.
