Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Just put back your save game and nothing else try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

I just figured out that my sims 4 doesn’t work when I have sims cc/miss and scrips enables in the sims settings even though I deleted all of my cc and mods. When I disable it the games works but I want to play with cc/mods. I made sure my cc/mods were up to date anyways. But now that it’s gone I still can’t play the game so that’s how I know it’s not a mods/cc problem.  Nothing was wrong when I had my mods/cc installed. It won’t load my game when I have those settings enabled. 

Hello, I have been a gamer for 2 years with sims and I usually have issues with mods and I have started again redownloaded sooo many times. I have started a new game and I have played with these mods and tray files perfectly fine! Until yesterday my game just erased! I was confused. Luckily my households didn’t delete but my buildings were gone. I can access building and build things but when I want to play my household it goes back to worlds or when I play another household just to test it came up with the error code. I have researched for a whole day and I know it’s not my mods or tray folder because I was just playing with them. So this is out of the blue. It’s like I always have to restart the settings! I realised it was an issues when I would change my graphics to medium (I am playing on a MacBook Air as I always have) and since this issue started it was only letting me play my game if the settings were on low but I have played on high before??? It’s confusing. I have deleted cache files or the localthumb thing, options ini, I have repaired, restarted re-downloaded the game. I have literally done everything and it’s laughable. Please help me. Or do I have to delete everything and start again? But I know it’s not my mods…

Hey I have a problem with my game once I figured out what mod was breaking it I put all the mods back in using 50/50 then I noticed my script mod wasn’t on and I turned it back on and tried to load my game now it’s saying the game failed to load. Error code 102:457b46:a02e4d3b. It is recommended that you relaunch your game
