Mod won't show up in my game

Try placing the mod directly in the mods folder .
With script mods, they can’t be more than one folder level down in your mods folder. You need to place the script mods either directly into the mods folder, or only in one level/folder in the mods folder.
For example, with the MCCC mod you can have
Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 -mods-MCCC
But you can’t have Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 -mods- Script mods- MCCC

So over the last couple of days I've been doing the 50/50 method to see if something is making this happen but no it;s still not showing up! I've also put the mod directly into the mods folder. Is there anything else I can do to make it show up?

This is her new website and Sugar Dates is not currently listed on her Mods page so maybe you could go to her Forum page and ask about it. https://www.kawaiistaciemods.com/downloads/ I know she just responded to a question about her careers today and is looking into updating them. Again, I am not sure if that includes Sugar Dates.

Go to game options and check that the " enable custom content and mods" button is ticked, which is found in :
Game Options | Other | Enable Custom Content and Mods. If it isn't ticked, do that.Also check that the script mods allowed button is ticked as well. Exit the game. Then go back into the game again and see if the mods appear then .

I am just checking. Make sure that you have extracted the package files out of the zipped folder or the rar file, if they come in zipped or rar formats. The package files then go into the mods folder. The zipped or rar files shouldn’t be kept in the mods folder as that can cause issues.

Well, I've uninstalled and re-installed Origin (I have an Asus, btw. So a PC). I've uninstalled and re-installed all my CC and mods. The CC is fine, but the mods NEVER SHOW UP!!!:(
I have lots of traits mods (usually from modthesims) and also the fashion and education careers (also from modthesims). AND I have TeenAdultRomance and TeenAdultWoohoo. I don't know what to do!! :'(
Plez help me I am a teeny child and IDK what to do

Also, make sure you are playing with the latest version of those mods. I know careers were broken with the last patch. For instance, the Fashion and Modelling Career at MTS just updated on 8/7 and the Education Carrier on 8/3.

I can't help with the teen Mods as they violate the Forum's TOS keeping the T-teen rating.

KawaiiStacie posted about her mods today but, did not specifically mention Sugardates Event Job I would recommend leaving her a message. https://www.kawaiistaciemods.com/forum/updates/broken-careers-getting-rid-of-mods She does say that mods not listed either won't be updated or don't need updating. Maybe she will clarify.

Also, make sure your issue isn't one of the known issues:

Known glitches
I have no idea if these glitches come from mods or the game itself but all of my events are codded correctly so here are the known glitches:
- Sometimes goals go missing
- Generic lots won't show up
- Sometimes you won't get the reward
(I will find a way to add a backup payment method because this makes the job mods useless if you are doing them for money.)

I'm taking your advice and asking about it! I made a couple of sims specifically for the mod and it'd suck if the mod won't won't be updated. I'm absolutely sure it's not the game doing this because it isn't showing up at all. There's supposed to be a pie menu but that isn't even there. Thanks for the help :smile:
