Mods and Custom Content Not Appearing in Game

Hey there! Thank you SO much for your response. I've read the link you sent but am still having difficulties with my Mods and CC. I have The Sims 4 folders in both my Documents folder and iCloud. Perhaps you can better explain to me what the next steps are?

Are all your CC and Mods unzipped, compatible with Sims 4, and updated to the current patch level of the game? They should have the .package extension. Could you please click on one of your subfolders to select it then go File > Get Info. In the little window that pops up the first section is General, please copy and paste the file path next to the Where title here so we can check the file path is correct.

Also make sure that you have CC and Mods enabled in the game options.

Could the issue be that I have renamed the files? I had read somewhere that renaming files to maintain organization doesn't effect them from working. I always make sure to check that my CC/Mods are compatible for the Sims 4, unzipped (I use Keka because I can't seem to download WinRar), and many are .package files. I have everything enabled in my game options.

Unfortunately I just deleted everything from my Mods folder! Do you have advice on how I can start fresh and have my CC and Mods work? 

I reset TS4 folder according to directions I read on another forum: I moved TS4 folder to my Desktop. Then, I opened up TS4, which created a NEW folder within my Documents. I deleted the old folder and now have the new one. 

What are the next steps I should take? The only Mod I have used thus far is , which I download straight from their website. All of my CC is mostly from The Sims Resource and Tumblr.

So far, so good! The CC I had downloaded previously didn't work, but the newly downloaded CC did. Now, would I be able to organize the CC into subfolders? For example TS4>Mods>Women. And will renaming the files effect my CC? I have no idea how I can organize everything! I can't stand having the files loose and under weird code names in the Mods folder.
