My cc isn't placed after downloading a save from old laptop

I made a save file to download on my new computer, when I downloaded my cc furniture and clothes they weren't in my sims house and my sims weren't wearing the clothes. Ive tried taking the save file ...

CC isn't stored in the save. The CC .package files need to be in the Sims 4 > Mods folder.

    I put my cc in the mods folder and all of my old cc is in my game but my sims aren't wearing their cc clothes and their cc furniture isn't placed. Does this mean I will have to put my sims back into their cc clothing and place all of my cc furniture on my own?

      Did you save the game after loading it and seeing this? Or did you quit without saving?

         I quit without saving. I was scared that saving would make it impossible to fix
