My Custom Content & Mods won't work and my games UI keeps disappearing.

When I use my CC & Mods my game UI disappears and I can't use build mode or anything else in the game. When I remove my CC & Mods from the mods folder the game works, the UI is back. This new patch has broken my game. I've tried repairing my files many times. Deleting and re-installing my mods/cc etc and it does absolutely nothing. I can't create new households or edit sims/households either. Ever since the new event has come out my games been doing this and my game sometimes stays on the loading screen forever and I don't know what to do.
