my game still doesn't work after the patch

my game only really opens when i take out all my mods and cc, which is confusing because i thought the THREE updates this month were trying to fix that. i have followed all the tips, forums, and discords but nothing works. I don't want to play the game without my cc/mods but the game literally wont open with them, it freezes and says the game isn't responding. it was also saying i didn't have the EA app open before i just reinstalled the app because it was clearly glitching, i literally opened the game directly from the app.

i was able to open the game and my most recent family no problem and then the patch dropped the  next day and now i get an endless loading screen if i try to open them. hours of gameplay down the drain and i cant even recover them cause my game wont work with any of the content i made them with.

i uninstalled and reinstalled the game, uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app, deleted cache, took out all cc and put it back in in groups with new folders, redownloaded all my mods with new folders, i repaired my game at least 6 times with AND without cc/mods. its so frustrating to have to basically play clueless tech support every time i wanna play and there is a new update that breaks the game.

i dont know what to do, it seems like i wasted hundreds of my dollars on a game i cant even play because of an update completely out of my control.
