My mods folder is not showing up in finder

I would like to add mods and CC to my sims, however I cannot find my mods folder anywhere. I've enabled both mods settings in options, however the folder still doesn't show up.. I have tried to make one myself, but I don't know under which folder it should be or if there is another way of fixing this. Thanks in advance guys!!

    Danireadsxo  This folder contains the game itself, not the user data.  You can't search for "Sims 4" to find the user folder; you'll need to manually open Documents > Electronic Arts to see it.

    Do not make a Mods folder yourself, and definitely do not make it here.  The game won't read a Mods folder in the game data, and a Mods folder in the user folder may not work.  There is probably already a folder in the correct location, but if not, enable mods in the game options and check again.

    Try making a brand new folder called "Mods" just to test and make sure it's not a game mess-up. Then I would suggest searching your trash if you haven't. Have you tried searching your entire pc for it? Sometimes it gets moved on accident. I always accidentally move some of my folders to the wrong spot.. especially when I'm trying to find broken CC.

    Yea agree with Puzzleaddict do not make your own mods folder To find your mods folder go to the search on top of your File Explorer and type in mods, it should appear inside of your Sims 4 folder  Doc> electronic arts> the Sims 4> mods
