My Sims 4 Game Is Driving Me Insane

Hi, i'm having trouble playing my game. Normally when i play everything runs smoothly; the mods, packs and even the custom content but ever since my sim had toddlers they just cancel every task i send them to do, I've turned off autonomy countless times and tried again but my sims still won't listen. I tried again with a new family and the same problem occurred - as soon as i had toddlers, my sim wouldn't look after them or do anything i told them to. I then decided to take out my mods folder and started again with the 3rd new family ad it worked. I then put that folder back into the game and took out the mods (e.g. Slice of Life and Wonderful Whims etc.) but the same thing happened. So I'm wondering if it is broken CC that is causing my sims not to listen. But I have taken out all of the broken CC and the same issues occur. All of the mods are up to date and i have reset my sims on countless occasions as well as reparing the game in Origin. What should I do now? How can I find out which CC is causing the problem?
