@KarmaReign Please remove the entire Mods folder and delete localthumbcache.package. Start the game to create a new Mods folder, quit, and download a fresh copy of one mod known to be updated, not simply declared "fine" but one that actually has a new version for the current patch. Test only that mod and let me know whether you get the same error.
If you still get the error, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Download a fresh copy of a different updated mod and test that, but only that. Let me know how it goes.
- 3 years ago@puzzlezaddict i have tried removing the mods folder and deleting the localthumbcache.package and the mods that I have I know are working.
I have also tried moving the sims 4 folder nothing seems to be working for me for some reason.- puzzlezaddict3 years agoHero+
@KarmaReign I understand that you've checked your mods, but have you specifically downloaded a fresh copy of a mod to test? It's possible that your mod files themselves have been corrupted, which is why it's important to check with a new copy in a clean Sims 4 folder.
