My sims game looks weird

After the last update my game looked weird, it's hard to explain but the buttons didn't look normal. I just put it down to being another bug and it didn't effect my gameplay so I didn't complain. But today when I tried to play the game looks worse and it's very distracting to the point I don't want to play the game.

I'll attach screenshots of what the game looks like. Keep in mind it looks like this with the majority of the buttons on the game

    Mods can break after a game update. Don’t add your Mods back into your game until they have been updated and are compatible the current game version.

    My buttons are weird to but they dont look like that its like the bubbles moved to the left and theres another bubble on the right but its cropped so you dont see the whole thing. When im in CAS the trait boxes have an A over it and when i put my mouse over it theres four dots AHHH
