Another thing, if you've run into the "unfurnished houses" thing while trying to move a sim, I spotted a definite CAUSE of the bug.
If you have played families on the map, and you use the Manage Worlds window to delete them from the lot, that WILL trash the settings, giving you just the "unfurnished" move in option, even though there is clearly furniture there.
If you EVICT them off the lot before you delete them (from the bin, not from a lot), it seems to keep the "furnished" settings intact. Deaderpool said HE didn't know that... so it's worth spreading around. :)
