You most likely have one Mod in each batch conflicting with one Mod in the other. If the conflict happens specifically with Paintings and Posters and the rugs sections, I would suggest looing at those specific files. If you don't keep your files in Subfolders try the Mods Manager at Mod the Sims, it looks like it categorizes Mods.
But it couldn't be a conflict because before the game updated it was fine! and I hadn't gotten any new mods since before or after that update happened. I've done through research online and have found any possible mods conflicting with the new patches and updated all the ones that needed to be updated. This also has happened before in the past with previous updates and different sections (misc decor, clutter, rugs, etc.) However, once the game updates again, it's fixed. I feel like this is due to Maxis not fully supporting the modding community so when they update the game they don't take into account the issues that may arise between the new patch and people's mods.
So, it still requires a patch fix in my eyes!
