I've noticed something similar, too; a Sim's need stayed yellow even when full. It corrected when I quit and restarted the game.

I am having the same issue as well. My sim died of starvation because the hunger bar stayed green the whole time and I didn't pay attention.

It still happens in a modless save. I guess it’s a bug from the game but I hope it’s not just because it broke my saves and a general bug that can get corrected
