Never pregnant after grim reaper try for baby

Hi there! I have Life and Death, and one of my most anticipated features was the grim babies, which lead me to pre-order the pack. While my sim was able to try for baby and woohoo with the reaper, she never got pregnant after any of those escapades. I’ve also tried to repair the game multiple times, reset Grim and my sim, reset the toilet and all woohoo mediums (lol), and add a lot trait that increases chances of twins, but nothing has helped. ☹️

    Hi! Are you playing with mods? I had the same issue. Deleting MC Woohoo from the MCCC mod fixed this for me. Even though I had the updated version. Hope this helps!

    Platform:PC
    Which language are you playing the game in? Suomi
    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    What is your current game version number? 1.110.294
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Tiny Living, Journey to Batuu and a few kits
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to have a baby with grim reaper
    What happens when the bug occurs? I try to have a baby with Grim Reaper but my sim never gets pregnant
    What do you expect to see? My sim to get pregnant
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    So I’ve tried to have a baby with Grim Reaper now that it’s possible with the new expansion, but my sim never gets pregnant. At first I thought it might just not be easy and not happen after first woohoo but now that I’ve tried it at least 50 times and I even tested it on a new save, I’m starting to think it’s some sort of bug?

    Hello there,

    I have the new Life and Death pack and have been trying for a baby at least 30 times with grim - my sim just won't get pregnant.

    I have MCC Command Center and UI Cheats Extensions installed.

    Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    I’ve been having the exact same problem since the new pack came out! I’ve tried a total of one hundred and seven times, I’ve done it with no mods, new saves, different sims, everything! I’ve tried it at the reaper career lot, with grim there because I summoned him via the grim phone, and with grim their post sim death! I can try for baby but every pregnancy test no sim gets pregnant. It’s certainly some form of glitch at the point.

    I had this same issue - I removed MCCC and MCCC woohoo from my mods folder, restarted the game and my sim got pregnant the next time they tried - hope this works for you!

    @AshDragon14 Yeah, same! I removed all my mods and repaired the game but nothing works. Annoying that one of the main features in the pack isn’t working

    For everyone that has the issue without MCCC, please try a clean folder.

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. 
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
