My game will start but will not save, has anyone else had this issue i also repaired from ea app, deleted cache file and restarted computer and this been for two days.
When i try to save it will say unable to save game due to game still loading. To fix my issue i had to delete my mods and the game work properly.
Since I removed all but the two mods my game saves like normal. As for testing without the mods folder, I would not be able to save, due to Erik losing albums and songs, etc. he gained with RTF mod. I can remove it, just to see if those same tabs are grayed out, if you like, then just exit. Will that do? There was no code just a message the saving couldn't happen the game was still loading or words to that effect.
Oh, and just as an aside, I slowly introduced the rest of my cc and mods, except one, back into the folder. Things are as they should be, curiously enough.
ladytrumpet010 UI Cheats does not cause this when outdated. Start at the pinned Broken and Updated Mods and CC list.
GalacticGal It's definitely been an issue before. Events should be done on mod-free saves. Lots of modders aren't going to update for something temporary.

Deaderpool has done a hotfix on MCCC and Sacrificial declared his mods compatible with the latest patch. All I can tell you is my game is functioning as it should, currently. I may be lucky, though. It's a gaming rig.
Interesting. I haven't removed my mods in any of the events I have played, prior. This issue was a first for me. (I don't have any mods-free saves.) All I can tell you is that Deaderpool did a hotfix for MCCC and Sacrificial has declared his mods compatible with this latest patch. For what it's worth, I was able to very slowly (one or two at a time) add back the cc and a couple of other mods I wanted into the game. All is well. What can I say? I'm not at all arguing with you, all I'm saying is perhaps I got lucky?
