Is anyone’s game still not working after the new update? I know it’s the first in a series of updates but as a mod user my game still just won’t open it displays “An error on our end caused the launch to fail” when I press play. Does anyone know if it’s a mod causing this and if so how to fix it? After I updated it opened fine but the second I allowed cc and mods it stopped again.
Same! I had this issue since Aug 19th update. I thought after the Sept 18th update, it will fix everything and will go back to normal. But it seems here that EA is no longer allowing script mods. CC works fine for me. Everytime I play a household, It will go back to neighborhood select. SMH

I thought exactly the same so I uninstalled all of my script mods after the previous update but the problem is still there. I have last exceptions installed but I cant even get onto my game for it to do a scan, I’m honestly starting to lose hope 😂
isabellehodgins2 Script mods aren't the only ones that break. You need to do a check with an EMPTY mods folder to find out if a mod is causing this.
I’ve deleted all the ones on the list that I have and I still can’t get the game to work. I don’t know how to check which mods are broken when I can’t even get on the game to check.
isabellehodgins2 Remove mods that aren't cleared as patch-compatible. Recheck the list for updates (there are separate update posts for catching up). See the instructions on vanilla and 50-50 testing in How to Use Mods and CC
