No attention left moodlet in teen sims

Sul sul everyone,

I'm having a problem which I guess I shouldn't even have in the first place: one of my sims constantly has 'No attention left' moodlet, regardless of what I do and how much his parents interact with him.

Sounds familiar? Well, here's more:

Thing is, he's not a toddler (this moodlet is a toddler thing after all, or..?), moreover — he's not even a child anymore! — he's been a grown up teen for a long time and still is always, and I mean ALWAYS sad because of his mom and dad not paying attention to him.

I didn't use any cheats (dislike that stuff) or custom content whatsoever, only official packs and kits.

Is that really supposed to work so?? If so, dear EA, here's my feedback: this is really stupid. Like, totally and annoyingly stupid.

But it looks to me like a glitch though. Does anyone know how to deal with it? Is there a way to get rid of this moodlet without UI cheats etc?

@graillyc Possible ? If it does come back, please save the game in that state and send me that save :D
  • For whatever reason both of my teens (that I got off from the gallery if that helps) are acting like toddlers. I have many sims in this household so I can't pay attention to them all the time. So whenever "the caregivers don't give them attention" they'll have a moodlet of a toddlers ("caregiver is to busy with other siblings" as an example.) My teen still performs duty's as a teenager but it gets really frustrating whenever I'm playing with them because they're constantly sad or mad. I don't know if this is happening in my other households yet because I've been focusing on this single household. It's just so frustrating, I hope someone can help me with this! Please and thanks 😁, if you need more information tell me. I have the lastest Sims 4 btw. And I'm in a scenario if that helps.

@7nzrj23hl176 I merged your post with a similar thread. Sounds like your toddler also has either traits or sentiments left that they shouldn't have.

Do you see any sentiments when you check the relationships with the parents ?
