No traits in cas

Everytime I think an issue is fixed I have a new one. I downloaded the third patch update yesterday after finally wanting to give it another go after wasting several days trying to get it working. I sorted through all my cc adding it one by one, restarting my laptop and then reloading the game. Once I'd whittled through all my cc, luckily I don't have much  got rid of anything that seemed to cause an issue and everything was working then, with cas loading finally working I went into cas, working on my character and get right to the end, about to pick an aspiration and notice the traits section is entirely blank. I got rid of any cas cc because I thought that was my problem. I don't have more traits or more columns so I'm lost and frustrated. I have Cptsd and sims 4 is one of my main coping methods. I just want to distress on sims but all I'm getting is stress, I'm just so ready to give up on sims, we never get rewards from EA for putting us through all this  but you get entirely free games that give u rewards just for dealing with minor technical issues. I already had my only load, full of achievements corrupted in the start of these updates so all I can do is start a new game which is entirely non functioning if u can't get past cas.
