Not able to do anything after BuildBuy mode

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.77.146.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but the Star wars, Throwback Kit & Bust the Dust kit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enter Build by mode and decorate a house for at least 5-10 minutes....after press live mode again
What happens when the bug occurs? After ive finished Decorating the game Stops working for me.. only buttons i can press are change wall height and move the camera....to rotate left or right... i CANNOT press the 3 dots to go to the menu or press Galley or press the up/down button along with the Pause/Play/fast forward buttons... even if my Sims are moving...i can't do nothing...i can't control them and i have to force Quit the game and lose all my work...
What do you expect to see? a Fix...im tired of having to constantly save incase something bad happens or having to redo everything again. because re-doing everything takes the fun out of the game
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

I have tried repairing the game and clearing my cache but this bug is mega frustrating and im kinda nervous about entering build buy sometimes...i mostly save before going in to it but im sometimes forgetful and someday may forget to save.
i get this bug EVERYDAY ☹️

I finally Solved it!
the only Sim giving me this error was the problem.... he was made by my best friend so he was saved in my library when i did this...but i deleted him from the household...and added a new version of him from my library. after i went back to live mode of the household... to be sure that he was working ok... then i jumped in to buildbuy mode and decorated for 5 minutes... and it seemed to of fixed itself since removing and re-adding the sim....and im not having the issue no more :D i did this with my mods not removed
