Has there been a fix for this yet? I’m all of a sudden now having the same issue. My sim has a cat who is sick. It has the hot feet or red feet sickness. I’m going to see if I can find a cheat to just cure pets bcus this is annoying. I can’t take the kitten to get seen bcus all the boxes are greyed out.
Further info, I redid my save. I moved my sims to a new Sim save under the same Sims 4 folder. Upon starting to replay the household, my sims kitten was already sick when I entered. I’m hoping fixing it with a cheat will help. Also, I don’t have the option to feed them a vet treat either. It’s not even showing up anywhere on the sims list of interactions. I do not have any mods that change the vet clinic or pet interactions.
And just seen that there’s no way to cheat curing your pet. Fantastic. 🙄

@diopter77My sim doesn’t own a vet clinic. They have a kitten and I can’t seem to feed him a vet treat or check him in to be seen at a vet clinic to cure his illness. It’s quite frustrating as I don’t remember whether or not kittens could be treated before or not. My sim has a dog, also, but she is an adult dog. Feeding treats and taking my sim’s dog to be seen by a vet works fine, however. I find this issue strange and annoying. I also have no cc in and there’s no issues with the vet clinic. Everything is placed normally and other sims come in and check their pets in just fine.
@thecharsims I have read in other forums where players have also had pets that were not fully healed after visiting the Vet and had no further options to treat them. Just like @EmmCarter described in post #1 in this thread. If you think that is the same thing that is happening in your game, there is one fix that might work for you but it involves using a mod.
I can't post a link in this forum but if you'd like to learn more about this mod its name is "No Sick, Dirty, Sad and Hungry Cats & Dogs (NPCs)" by Little Miss Sam. This mod has an interaction called "Treat Pet" that should fully heal your pet.

@RandomBuzzinessI haven't taken my sim's pet to the vet at all. I was revisiting that family when their kitten was randomly sick. That's when I took it to the vet but I actually found out that this is a glitch on EA's part. It's another one of their many animation/posture glitches where a "situation" takes place on the incorrect sim or in this case, a kitten trying to do the same animation as an adult cat. Unfortunately, I didn't see your reply in time to see if the mod you spoke of would have worked, though I'm sure I've used it in the past.
I ended up replacing the kitten with a replica that I made from scratch in CAS. I was annoyed about it but ultimately, had no choice. Thank you though.- @thecharsims I think I will have to accept living with a blue cat with a red nose ... it is really very frustrating and it makes you mad that they don't correct it!
- @thecharsims Same issue. I had two dogs. Took one to the vet and upon return I adopted two more dogs. One got sick immediately and trying it take it to the vet and all options are greyed out saying there is no eligible pet. I made no changes. :/
