Pet forever sick: vet check--in glitched.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? So many. So much money on this game and i'm finding new glitches every day. Sad. All expansion packs (apart from island living | seasons). + Realm of Magic
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Obtain a sick pet > try to take them to the vet to cure them. The check in will be glowing orange but you will not be able to check in / cure animal.
What happens when the bug occurs? I try to take my red-nosed/sick cat to the vet and the check-in is glowing orange but will not allow me to check the animal in to cure it. Have tried deleting animal from household and readding, have tried going to multiple vets, have installed a vet setup in the basement of my own house and mastered the veterinary skill. NOTHING WORKS. Have tried making the 'wellness treats' and my sick cat with the red nose will not eat it. I have chat options to "comfort" animal because it is SICK. However, when I try to diagnose it on a table it says that no animals in household are sick.
What do you expect to see? Take animal to vet and be able to get it healthy through check in and procedure.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
