Plants are stuck. Not producing.

Question

My plants were working well, requiring weeding watering, harvesting. The works.

Now they are seemingly stuck. I cannot water, weed, spray for bugs or even harvest. Its been probably no less than a sims week and they arent doing anything. They arent dying, they arent producing, but the water and weed options are not selectable. I've tried repairing the game, updating mods, leaving the lot and returning, debugging the plants, planting new plants. New plants do not grow. Note to add, all of my plants are sheltered and have been the entire time I've had this save. I've had this save for a long time and never had an issue until a week ago when they just seemingly froze. Is there any way to fix this ?

@Sophie1219&nbsp;Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

I have the same issue since High School Years. Not using mods, simply my plantas get all stuck like a dirt pile and don't grow, die or demand water or anything else. I don't have any mod and if I try to cheat them to come back, they do but in a while they do get stuck again. It happens with plants that are in and outside, no matter the season.
